Payment
In case of reservations more than 30 days in advance of your arrival, a downpayment of 50% of the total amount will be obligatory. The remainder of the amount will have to be transferred no later than 30 days in advance of your arrival.
Reservations made within 30 days before your arrival will have to be paid in full in advance. In case of international money transfers, please take into account a possible two week transfer time of funds. Reservations made within one week before your arrival will have to be paid in full and in cash when you arrive.
Payment is possible via Paypal or IBAN. All possible costs of international money transfers are to be covered by the renter.
In case (down- or partial) payments will not be received within the set time limits as mentioned above, it is the right of the owner of the apartment to cancel any and all reservations one-sidedly without any rights of restitution of (down- or partial) payments to the renter.
In exceptional cases, to be decided by and only after written consent of the owner, the owner may grant the renter to pay the remainder of the total amount due in cash to the caretaker.
Check-in and check-out
After your (down-) payment will be received, you will receive a voucher by e-mail with which you can pick up the keys to the apartment with the caretaker at only a few yards from the apartment. Standard check-in time is 14:00 hours and standard check-out time is 10:00 hours. In case the apartment is not currently occupied when you arrive, it may be possible, as an exception and only after written consent by the owner, to check in earlier than the standard check-in time. There are however no guarantees that this will be possible.
Cancellation
(Down-)payments will not be refunded in case the renter decides to cancel his or her reservation. Please make sure that this is covered by your own travel insurance. The voucher for the reservation is personal and non-transferable to any and all third-parties. In case the renter remains absent on the first day of the reservation without further notice, the owner of the apartment has the right to make the apartment available for immediate renting to other parties. In this case the made reservation will be void and no restitutions will be made, be it in payment or in days remaining.
